What a custom address is
A Solana address is a long string of characters, and a vanity address starts or ends with characters you choose. Most pump.fun coins have a mint address that ends in "pump", which you can see in the launch data we measure, see pump.fun statistics.
Generating one
Matching addresses are found by generating many keypairs, and each extra character makes a match about 58 times harder, see how to generate a vanity address. Jumpbit's pump.fun launch tool offers an optional custom address with a chosen prefix or suffix, and says generation takes 10 to 60 seconds and costs additional compute. Jumpbit's standalone generator allows up to 4 characters in total.
Cautions
Keep the key safe and use a trusted generator. A vanity address does not make a token safer, and buyers should still run checks, see how to check a token. Open the launch tool.
