What we measured
We counted every pump.fun launch created between 1 and 30 September 2026 in dydt's index of Solana trades, then followed each token's trades up to 12 October 2026. Figures are a snapshot, not a live feed.
| Measure | Launches | Share of launches |
|---|---|---|
| Launches in September | 1,083,771 | about 36,100 a day |
| Had at least one recorded trade | 1,030,871 | 95.1% |
| Graduated to PumpSwap | 116,714 | 10.8% |
| Last trade at least 1 hour after launch | 330,551 | 30.5% |
| Last trade at least 24 hours after launch | 186,148 | 17.2% |
| Last trade at least 7 days after launch | 81,465 | 7.5% |
| Last trade at least 14 days after launch | 38,656 | 3.6% |
| Still trading in the last 24 hours (12 October) | 5,350 | 0.5% |
Holders
Counting holders on the bonding-curve pool, the median launch had 5 holders. 36.5% of launches reached 10 or more holders, 11.8% reached 100 or more and 3.0% reached 1,000 or more.
Definitions and limits
- Graduated means the token also has a PumpSwap pool. See what PumpSwap is.
- Still trading means the last recorded trade on any of the token's pools came that long after launch. A token can keep trading at a price near zero, so this is activity, not value.
- The creator's own first buy counts as a trade.
- Holder counts come from the bonding-curve pool and can undercount tokens that moved to PumpSwap.
- The snapshot is for one month. Rates change with market conditions.
