Plain definitions of the Solana terms traders and token creators run into, with current numbers.
12 pages- What is a Solana multisender?A Solana multisender sends SOL or a token from one wallet to many recipients in batches. Each recipient without a token account needs one opened, which locks 0.00148844 SOL at current rent, often more than the tool's own fee. How it works and what it costs.Updated 24 Oct 2026
- What are token transfer fees (tax tokens)?A tax token takes a fee on every transfer. On Solana this is Token-2022's transfer fee extension: a rate in basis points with a maximum per transfer, withheld in the recipient's account until the withdraw authority collects it. How it works, who gets the fees and what buyers should check.Updated 24 Oct 2026
- What is a bundle (bundled launch)?A bundle is up to 5 Solana transactions sent through Jito that land together, in order, or not at all. A bundled launch puts token creation and buys from several wallets in one bundle. In September 2026, 29.3% of pump.fun launches had another wallet buy in the launch block.Updated 24 Oct 2026
- What is a memecoin?A memecoin is a token whose value comes from attention, community and jokes rather than cash flows or a product. On Solana most launch on pump.fun: about 33,400 a day in September 2026, of which 3.38% graduated and 8.8% still traded a week later.Updated 24 Oct 2026

- What is a sniper bot?A sniper bot buys a new token automatically in the first block or seconds after it launches or gets a pool. On pump.fun, 29.3% of September 2026 launches had another wallet buy in the launch block itself. How sniping works, what it costs and the risks.Updated 24 Oct 2026

- What is a volume bot?A volume bot runs automated buy and sell cycles on a token so it shows steady trading volume; a bump bot repeats small trades to keep it in recent-activity feeds. - What is PumpSwap (pump.fun AMM)?PumpSwap is pump.fun's AMM on Solana. Coins move there when their bonding curve fills at 85 SOL, with LP tokens burned, and anyone can create their own pool. Graduated pools charge 1.25% below 420 SOL market cap, falling to 0.30%; user pools charge a flat 0.30%.Updated 24 Oct 2026
- What is slippage?Slippage is the gap between the price you expect and the price your trade fills at. Slippage tolerance (in %, or basis points where 1% = 100 bps) is the worst fill you accept before the trade fails. High tolerance on thin memecoin pools invites sandwich attacks.Updated 24 Oct 2026
