What it is
A vanity address is a normal wallet whose public address starts, or ends, with a pattern such as a name. Jumpbit Vanity Address Generator generates a Solana wallet address with your own prefix.
How generation works
Addresses come from random keypairs, so the only way to find a match is to generate many and keep the one that fits. Because each position has 58 possible characters, every extra character in the prefix makes a match roughly 58 times harder to find. Short prefixes are quick and long ones can take a very long time.
How Jumpbit's generator works
Jumpbit says its generator runs fully in your browser, works offline and creates wallets with secure randomness, with no servers or data leaving your device. Its settings allow up to 4 characters in total across prefix and suffix. Its FAQ says 1 to 2 characters take seconds, 3 to 4 take minutes, and 5 or more can take hours depending on your device. The page states no fee.
Keep it safe
- The private key for the matching address is what matters. Store it offline and never share it.
- Use a generator you trust, since whoever sees the key controls the wallet.
- Test the wallet with a small amount first.
Uses
Projects use vanity addresses for recognizable wallets and token mints. See launching a memecoin and the token creators page. Open the generator.
