What you can see
A wallet address shows its SOL balance, token holdings, and every transaction. Nothing is private on-chain, but a wallet is only a string of letters until you know whose it is.
Quick way: an explorer
- Copy the wallet address.
- Paste it into a block explorer.
- Read the transaction list. Open a transaction to see the programs and tokens involved.
Better way: a wallet tracker
Trackers read the same public data and add features:
- Alerts when the wallet buys or sells.
- Profit and loss over time.
- Labels for known wallets, such as exchanges and funds.
- A feed of several wallets at once.
Compare options on the wallet trackers page.
Finding wallets worth following
- Top holders and early buyers of a token you care about.
- Wallets that appear in profitable trades across several tokens.
- Wallets named by the team or community, then checked against their history.
Read it carefully
A wallet that was right once may have been lucky. Look at many trades. Wallets can also be split across addresses, so one entity may look like several.
