Disclosure: Jumpbit builds Multisender, one of the tools covered here. We list every tool under the same rules and show only values each tool states. See the editorial policy.
Before you start
- Know the token. Native SOL, an SPL token and a Token-2022 token behave differently. Token-2022 tokens can carry transfer fees, so recipients may receive slightly less than you send.
- Fund the sending wallet with the tokens plus SOL for fees. Each recipient who has no token account needs one created, which costs about 0.002 SOL of rent per account unless the tool covers it.
- Clean the list. Remove duplicates and exchange deposit addresses, which can lose funds if the exchange does not credit them.
Steps
- Open a multisender such as Jumpbit Multisender and connect the sending wallet.
- Pick the token: SOL, an SPL token or a Token-2022 token.
- Paste or upload recipient addresses. A CSV upload suits long lists, see the CSV checklist.
- Choose the amount: the same for every wallet, random, or a custom amount per wallet.
- Review the total, including the tool fee. Jumpbit shows the exact total before you confirm, at 0.002 SOL per recipient for SOL, 0.003 SOL for tokens and 0.0015 SOL with ZK compression.
- Sign. Jumpbit explains that the wallet warning about allowing the app to withdraw funds appears because the tool needs permission to distribute your tokens, and it only sends the amounts you listed.
- Watch progress and check the transactions on a block explorer.
Mistakes to avoid
- Skipping a small test batch.
- Sending a Token-2022 token without checking its transfer fee.
- Using compressed tokens without telling recipients they must claim, see ZK-compressed airdrops.
- Forgetting that the mint authority and freeze authority are visible to recipients, see the rug checkers page.
Compare tools on the multisender comparison, and read how to airdrop a token.
