How the fee works
A Token-2022 token can charge a transfer fee. On each transfer, part of the amount is withheld in the recipient's token account instead of being sent on. The fee authority can later collect those withheld amounts. See what Token-2022 transfer fees are.
Collecting the fees
Jumpbit Fee Collector collects the transfer fees that a Token-2022 token withholds in holder accounts. Connect the wallet that holds the fee authority, choose the token and sign.
What Jumpbit's collector charges and needs
Jumpbit states a minimum of 0.05 SOL, rising linearly to 1 SOL per 100,000 accounts, plus network fees for the harvest transactions. You must be the mint's withdraw-withheld authority. The tool scans every token account of a Token-2022 mint, including liquidity pool vaults, lists accounts holding withheld fees, harvests them and withdraws them to your token account. A token account costs about 0.003 SOL if yours does not exist yet. The wallet signs only the payment and the final withdrawal.
Why it matters
- Withheld fees stay in holder accounts until collected.
- An account with withheld fees cannot be closed, see the account closing error.
- Holders should check a token's fee before buying, see how to check a token.
