Plan the airdrop
- Decide who gets tokens and how many. A holder snapshot is a common source.
- Put the list in a CSV with one address and one amount per row.
- Keep enough of the token and enough SOL for rent and fees in the sending wallet.
Why it costs more than it looks
- Every recipient that has never held the token needs a token account. Creating it costs about 0.002 SOL of rent, paid by the sender.
- A transaction has a size limit, so only some transfers fit in each one. A big list needs many transactions.
- Tool fees come on top. Jumpbit's multisender charges 0.003 SOL per recipient, or about 0.0015 SOL with ZK compression.
ZK compression
Compressed tokens avoid creating a full token account per recipient, which cuts the cost. Recipients then claim or decompress the tokens into a normal token account when they want to use them.
Send it
- Connect the sending wallet to a multisender.
- Upload the CSV and check the total.
- Send a small test batch to wallets you control.
- Run the full list and keep the transaction links as your record.
Compare multisenders on the multisenders page.
Common mistakes
- Duplicate or malformed addresses in the CSV.
- Forgetting that decimals apply: an amount of 1 may mean 0.000001 of the token.
- Sending from a wallet that also needs the tokens for liquidity.
