Why pump.fun orders fail
pump.fun's terms list these as reasons an order may not execute: failed, dropped or reverted transactions, fluctuations in network or priority fees, and time-sensitive failures. They also say the fee actually charged is set by the underlying contracts and can differ from the estimate shown, partly because of slippage, network conditions or rounding.
Checklist
- Balance. pump.fun shows a warning on some coin pages when funds are insufficient and the transaction will likely fail. Keep SOL for the trade, the network fee and rent.
- Slippage. Too tight a setting fails on fast-moving coins. See what slippage is.
- Priority fee. A low priority fee can leave an order unprocessed during busy periods.
- Graduated coins. After a coin graduates, trading moves to PumpSwap, see what PumpSwap is.
Fees
The current schedule is on pump.fun's fee page. Canonical PumpSwap pools charge 1.25% in total below 420 SOL market cap, falling to 0.30% at 98,240 SOL and above.
