Raydium CPMM "Init lp amount is too less" error 6009

The fix

The first deposit into a new CPMM pool is too small. Raydium locks 100 units of LP on creation, so the initial liquidity must produce more than that.

Tools covered

  1. RaydiumRaydium is a Solana DEX with AMM v4, CPMM and CLMM pools and LaunchLab, documented with a published fee table.UpVisit

What the error means

Code6009 (0x1779)

How to fix it

  1. Deposit more of one or both tokens when creating the pool.
  2. Check token decimals: a tiny amount of a 9-decimal token may still be too small.
  3. Retry pool creation with the larger amounts.

If that is not it

  • Pool creation also costs a 0.15 SOL Raydium fee and about 0.042 SOL rent in our measurement; a low SOL balance shows a different error.
