Check what actually happened
Open the transaction in Phantom's history, then on a block explorer. Phantom says that if the transaction failed, the tokens did not leave your wallet.
Common causes in Phantom's help center
- Ledger: keep the device unlocked and nearby, open the Solana app, and turn on blind signing for that app. If the transaction never prompts for approval, check this first.
- Not enough for fees: you need enough of the network's native token to pay the fee. Phantom recommends at least 0.01 SUI for Sui.
- Low fees on EVM networks: transactions with low gas can wait in the mempool during busy periods. You can resubmit with a higher fee or cancel.
- Bitcoin: only one pending BTC transfer is allowed at a time, and Phantom suggests at least 500 sats for fees.
- Restricted address: a "Transactions Disabled" message means the address is restricted. Funds stay accessible and the wallet can be imported into another compatible wallet.
If you are swapping
Phantom says it simulates a swap before submitting it, and a failed simulation blocks the swap. A swap that fails usually has a price, balance or slippage cause. See slippage tolerance exceeded and insufficient funds for rent.
If none of this matches, contact Phantom support with the transaction signature and the network. See Phantom.
