What it usually points to
Signing happens in your wallet. A signing failure means the wallet never produced a signature, so nothing was sent to the chain. Common standard checks are:
- Unlock the wallet and make sure it is on the Solana network and the account you expect.
- Disconnect pump.fun in the wallet's connected sites list, reload the page and reconnect.
- If you use a hardware wallet, connect it and open the Solana app before you trade.
- Keep SOL in the wallet for the trade amount, the network fee and account rent. pump.fun shows a warning on coin pages that insufficient funds mean the transaction will likely fail.
What pump.fun says can fail an order
pump.fun's terms list failed, dropped or reverted transactions, changes in network or priority fees, and slippage as reasons an order may not execute, and say the fee charged can differ from the estimate shown. See the pump.fun fee schedule for the current rates.
If it keeps happening
Try another browser or wallet, then retry after a short wait. If the problem is slippage rather than signing, read what slippage is. Details on the launchpad are on the pump.fun page.
