Where the settings are
Open the gear icon at the top right of the trading panel. Presets are available there.
Slippage
Slippage is the percentage price change you accept while the transaction confirms. Too tight a setting makes trades fail on moving prices. See what slippage is.
Priority fee and bribe
- The priority fee is an extra payment to validators for faster confirmation, with a default of 0.001 SOL.
- The bribe is an extra incentive to validators to prioritise your transaction, also 0.001 SOL by default. It is optional but recommended for high-volume trades.
- Axiom analyses current transactions and can calculate recommended values for you.
MEV protection
- Off: no protection, so trades can be frontrun and get worse entry prices.
- Reduced: submits through Jito, but the docs say rogue validators may still be involved, so some risk remains.
A higher bribe improves safety, but the docs say it is not 100% effective. The hand-and-coin icon at the top right of the Market page shows the current minimum MEV bribe, and your MEV fee must be set above it to stay protected.
Several of these pages are over a year old, so check the live app. See Axiom and the trading terminals page.
