What the docs say
DEX Screener's charts are built on TradingView's Advanced Charts library. The docs describe an Indicators menu in the top toolbar with options including Bollinger Bands, Ichimoku Cloud and Moving Average, and highlight Volume and RSI as popular picks.
- Volume shows the amount traded in a timeframe.
- RSI is a momentum oscillator that gauges the speed and size of price moves.
The charts also offer drawing tools including shapes, arrows, brushes, and Gann and Fibonacci tools, and chart types Bars, Candles, Line, Area and Heikin Ashi.
Using them on new coins
New memecoins have little history, which limits indicators that need many candles. Volume and the pair's age are available from the first trade. Pair pages also show new pairs, gainers and losers, and multicharts. Check the live chart for the indicators currently offered, because the docs page may be dated.
