What a wallet cleaner does

Every token you receive or trade creates a token account that locks a small SOL deposit called rent, about 0.002 SOL for a standard account. Selling or transferring the token does not close the account. A wallet cleaner closes the empty accounts and returns the rent to you. Accounts that still hold a balance can only be closed after the tokens are sent or burned, and burning is permanent.

Compared on stated facts

Tools are listed alphabetically. This is not a ranking, because the tools state different things. A dash means the tool does not state it. Prices were read from each tool's own page or, for Jumpbit, from its fee settings, on 14 October 2026.

ToolStated feeTaken from
Jumpbit Wallet Cleaner5% of the SOL recoveredRecovered rent
Sol IncineratorAbout 0.00004 SOL per standard token account and about 0.00007 SOL per Token-2022 accountRecovered rent
Solana CompassA fee on the SOL reclaimed, amount shown before you sign, percentage not stated on its pageRecovered rent

All three charge nothing upfront and take the fee from the rent you reclaim. Network fees still apply.

What cleaning costs per account

A standard empty token account holds about 0.00204 SOL of rent. Using the stated fees:

Empty accountsRent recovered before feesJumpbit (5%)Sol Incinerator (about 0.00004 each)
100about 0.204 SOLabout 0.0102 SOLabout 0.004 SOL
500about 1.02 SOLabout 0.051 SOLabout 0.02 SOL

A percentage fee and a per-account fee differ in size, so compare what you keep for the number of accounts you have. Accounts opened more recently can hold a smaller rent deposit.

How to choose

  • What you keep. Compare the net SOL after the fee, not only the fee rate.
  • Protection. Check the tool lets you keep tokens you want, and what it does with accounts that still hold a balance.
  • Burning. Burning tokens is permanent. Only burn tokens you are sure you do not want.
  • Review before signing. A good flow shows gross recovery, the fee and net SOL before you approve.

Where Jumpbit Wallet Cleaner fits

Jumpbit Wallet Cleaner scans a wallet, closes empty accounts, can burn selected tokens first and protects tokens you want to keep, with USDC, USDT and wrapped SOL that hold a balance protected by default. See account cleaners for the full category.

Questions people ask

How much SOL can I get back from empty token accounts?

A standard empty token account holds about 0.00204 SOL of rent. Tools take a fee from the amount recovered, so you keep the rest.

Is closing a token account safe?

Closing an account with a zero balance removes no tokens, because there are none in it. If you receive that token again a new account is created. Burning tokens is different and cannot be undone.

Why can I not close an account that has a balance?

Solana only allows an account to be closed when its balance is zero. The tokens must be sent or burned first.
