Before you create the pool
- Finish your supply and metadata. See how to create a token.
- Revoke the mint and freeze authority. Some pool types reject tokens that still have a freeze authority, and buyers distrust both. See how to revoke mint and freeze authority.
- Hold enough of both assets, plus SOL for the pool creation fee and rent.
Steps
- Open the pool creation page and connect your wallet.
- Choose a pool type. Standard pools use fungible LP tokens. Concentrated pools use positions.
- Select your token and the quote token.
- Set the initial price. It comes from the ratio of what you deposit on each side.
- Deposit both amounts, review the fee tier, and confirm.
- Check the pool address on an explorer and swap a small amount to test.
After you create it
Decide what happens to the LP tokens. Burning or locking them is how holders know you cannot withdraw the pool. See how to lock or burn liquidity.
