Free to create, not free to launch
pump.fun's fee page says there is no platform fee to create a coin. You pay the Solana network fee and the small SOL deposit the network needs for the token's accounts. - Smithii: Token Creator 0.5 SOL, Bundler 0.3 SOL, Liquidity Pool 0.1 SOL.
- CoinFactory: revoking mint authority and making a token immutable each carry a 0.1 SOL service fee.
- Raydium and Orca pools: Raydium charges 0.15 SOL to create a standard pool and has no creation fee on CLMM pools, though rent applies. Orca lists a 0 SOL pool creation fee.
