Jupiter error 6000 (0x1770): EmptyRoute and "no route found"

The fix

Jupiter could not build a route for the pair and amount, usually because the token has little or no liquidity, the amount is too large or too small, or the pool is not indexed yet.

Tools covered

  1. JupiterJupiter is an onchain finance app offering swaps, perps, lending, staking and prediction markets on Solana.UpVisit
  2. DEXScreenerMulti-chain DEX pair screener with charts, trending and new pairs, covering Solana.UpVisit

What the error means

Error Code: EmptyRoute. Error Number: 6000. Error Message: Empty route

Jupiter could not build a route for the pair and amount, usually because the token has little or no liquidity, the amount is too large or too small, or the pool is not indexed yet.

Code6000 (0x1770)

How to fix it

  1. Try a smaller amount, or a larger one if you are below a minimum.
  2. Check the token has a live pool, for example on DEX Screener.
  3. For brand-new tokens, trade on the launchpad or pool directly until aggregators index it.

If that is not it

  • If a route is found but the swap fails, 6001 (slippage) is the usual cause.

Questions people ask

Why does Jupiter say no route found?

There is no pool with enough liquidity for that pair and amount, or the pool is not indexed yet.

Can I still trade the token?

Possibly, directly on its launchpad or pool.
