"custom program error: 0x1" on Solana: insufficient funds

The fix

In the SPL Token program, code 0x1 means the source token account holds fewer tokens than the transfer asks for. In the System Program, code 1 means the account does not have enough SOL.

What the error means

Error processing Instruction N: custom program error: 0x1

In the SPL Token program, code 0x1 means the source token account holds fewer tokens than the transfer asks for. In the System Program, code 1 means the account does not have enough SOL.

Where it comes fromSPL Token program
Code1 (0x1) InsufficientFunds

How to fix it

  1. Check which program failed in the explorer logs: Token program or System Program.
  2. For tokens, lower the amount or refresh your balance; another transaction may have spent tokens first.
  3. For SOL, add SOL to cover the transfer plus fees and rent.
  4. In swaps, a price move can make the needed input larger than your balance; retry with a fresh quote.

If that is not it
